SHARON G. HADARY
Dr. Sharon Hadary is the Executive Director of the Center for Women's Business Research, the premier research institute dedicated to unleashing the economic potential of women entrepreneurs and their enterprises. The Center accomplishes its mission through conducting research and sharing the resulting knowledge.
Dr. Hadary leads the Center's major initiatives to improve the quality and comprehensiveness of the knowledge on the role of women business owners and their enterprises in economies and societies around the world. She also leads the communications strategies to share this knowledge with policy makers, corporations, financial institutions, media and women business owners in a way that expands entrepreneurial opportunities for women worldwide. She has been an adjunct professor and lecturer at The George Washington University School of Business and Public Management, University of Maryland University College Graduate School, and Georgetown University. She is a frequent speaker at conferences. Dr. Hadary has served on the Board of Visitors of the University of Maryland University College and The George Washington University School of Business and Public Management Alumni Committee. She is active in the community and served four years as the elected chairman of the Village Council for the municipality of Martin's Additions, Maryland. Dr. Hadary spent 21 years with IBM, where she was an executive in communications and public relations. She is frequently quoted by print, broadcast, and on-line media on women business owner issues and has appeared on major TV and radio networks, including ABC, CBS, CNN, and CNBC. She received the Euro-American Women's Council's Leadership Award in Athens, Greece, in recognition of Center for Women's Business Research's impact worldwide in bringing recognition to women business owners and their enterprises as an economic and social force. She has twice received the Distinguished Alumni of the Year, most recently in 1999, from The George Washington University. In 2003, she received the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Applause Award and was inducted into the Enterprising Women Hall of Fame. Dr. Hadary has a BS in psychology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, an MS from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University, and her doctorate from the School of Business and Public Management at The George Washington University. |
ART PITCHER
Art Pitcher is a Managing Mortgage Consultant for Founders Mortgage & Financial, Inc. in Phoenix, Arizona. An Arizona native, Art has 14 years of business leadership experience and an in-depth understanding of not only personal credit, but residential and commercial real estate lending.
Art has been speaking in the valley on a wide variety of topics since 1996, and is currently involved with the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, The Dot Connectors Program and Business Networking West. Further, Art serves as a personal credit and lending consultant to the radio show "Access to Capital", which airs on 1510AM KFNN at 8:00am every Saturday morning. As a resource to the community, Art is available to speak on a variety of topics (including understanding personal credit, first time home buying, and maximizing the positive impact of home equity) to schools, home owners associations, civic groups, churches and any organization that can be benefited from this information. |
